Our crowns provide a protective cover for damaged or weakened teeth, preserving their functionality and appearance, while our bridges fill the gaps left by missing teeth, restoring your smile and bite.
At Art of Dentistry, we ensure your restorations are strong, durable, and aesthetically pleasing. Whether you’re looking to repair a single tooth or replace several, our expert team is dedicated to delivering personalized care that brings back the confidence in your smile. You can expect to come for two visits when receiving dental crowns or bridges. We use the first visit to make impressions of your teeth and then send those impressions to a dental laboratory. What is a dental crown?
A dental crown is a restoration that covers an existing tooth that’s severely damaged or decayed to restore its function. Crowns can also be used for cosmetic purposes, covering one or multiple teeth to a new shape, size, and color.
Dental crowns are durable and help protect the teeth from damage regardless of restorative or cosmetic purposes. They also cap a dental implant, connect dental bridges, and prevent damage from worsening. Overall, crowns offer a long-term solution for maintaining your dental health and natural-looking smile.

What is a dental bridge?
Dental bridges are used to replace one or multiple missing teeth. They function as an anchor to the natural teeth, or dental implants, on either side of the gap between two or more teeth.
A bridge is composed of a replacement (false) tooth and two or more crowns for the teeth on either side of the gap. Dental bridges help you chew and speak more easily by restoring the appearance and function of missing teeth. They also stop remaining teeth from moving their position, which could lead to a misaligned bite and other oral health issues.

How do temporary dental crowns work?
Typically, dental crowns take two visits to complete. During your first visit, we will remove the decay and take impressions of your mouth to send to a lab to ensure your crown fits perfectly. Once we’ve removed the decay, and between your visits, you will wear a temporary dental crown to protect your natural tooth while waiting for your permanent crown.
Your temporary crown is shaped to fit your bite, allow for normal eating and speaking, and temporarily cemented to your existing tooth while we wait for your final crown.
